Recreation and Upward Ministries
This year we are excited to offer a 7th and 8th grade Upward Basketball League.
If your child is not participating in a High School Sanctioned sport then your child
has to opportunity to participate in Upward Basketball at Farmstead Baptist Church!
Farmstead Baptist Church Upward Basketball and Cheerleading has been serving the Farmstead and Jasper area for ten years. We are excited about the future of this great ministry going further and accomplishing much for the Kingdom of God!
Our desire is to see children, and their families, come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We also desire for your children to learn the basics of basketball and cheerleading all in the atmosphere of encouragement and love. We hope you choose to allow your child to participate with us at Farmstead Baptist this next year in Upward sports, see you soon!

Men's and Women's Church League Softball
We love to play softball at Farmstead Baptist Church. We have both and men's and women's softball team that participate in the church league of the Jasper Park and Recreation.
To play with us you need to come and attend. You must read, and sign our
covenant sheet to play. We desire to build unity in our fellowship, souls to the
Kingdom and memories that last a lifetime through this recreation ministry.
Our attitudes and actions should match that of Christ Jesus and our goal at the ballfield or on the field of life is to reflect a
changed heart because of a rebirth through Jesus Christ.
Next season, you will be able to find the schedules of both and men and women here on this page.
You will not find the covenant here. Why? Because we want to see your face in the church so we can meet with you and introduce you personally to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Friday Night Basketball
Friday Night Basketball is for teenagers through adults. We try to play every Friday but that is subject to change.
We begin play between 6:30 and 7pm and wrap up around 9pm. In the middle we have a time of devotion in God's Word. Our desire is to have fun and play hard but also, to present the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The first eight that show, shoot for teams and as people come in, they sign in to get into the rotation.
We have a great time playing and competing.
Please remember, we ask that 2 visitors may come to each member.
